We’re sensitive to the fact many people really want to update or beautify the look of their homes or short-term rental properties - but don’t have a knack for spacial design or decorating.

Sometimes all it takes is a trained eye to choose the right splash of repeating color, a particular piece of furniture or artwork, comfortable and high-quality bedding, or the placement of certain plants or flowering shrubs outside a window to radically transform the look and feel of a space.

You’ve reached your limit with cooking in a dark, outdated, kitchen with practically no cabinets.

That 1960’s toilet and sink combo in your half-bath that once seemed delightfully kitschy and vintage, now just looks old and ugly.

You know you want to rip out most of this stuff and replace it with a look that represents your current taste - and offers modern conveniences.

Where do you start?

We get the ball rolling with an initial consultation to assess the areas you’re looking to transform via interior design or renovation.

We listen to who you are, what you like, and what you’ll be using the space for.

Then, we start brainstorming with you to visualize the possibilities: then, it’s on to planning, sourcing materials and decor, and finding the right crews or specialists to renovate or transform your spaces.

We schedule a site visit and consultation to discuss how your use of certain spaces, or your taste in furnishings, has changed over time.

Then we create a plan to update those targeted spaces - inside or outdoors.

This might include:

• Changing out or resurfacing counter tops, cabinets, doors, or light fixtures and replacing with versions that add more space, light, or visual appeal to your home.

• Demolishing a room - or enlarging another - to create a modern bathroom with unique tile, or relaxing bathing features.

• Creating a decorating scheme of new furniture, wall coverings, objects, and art work to make the spaces feel more open & airy - or conversely, cozy & private.

• Adding trees, patios, and clustered plantings and to create visual appeal from inside the house, and privacy and relaxation areas in garden and yard spaces.

We’re Experienced, Thoughtful, and Local

We’ve done jobs in NYC, the Hudson Valley, and in the Catskills. Since 2011, we’ve hired and managed construction specialists, surveyors, tradespeople, photo crews, and landscapers, and we deeply care about the quality of the work. We like to work with honest people, who pay attention to details - and do a great job cleaning up at the end of days.

We’re able to be onsite for any discerning out-of-town clients who’ve opted for a gut renovation of an investment property, vacation home, or outdoor space, and want a trusted eye and top-shelf communicator to liaise with trades crews and service providers. We provide oversight, feedback, and updates about the work or schedule.
