Summer SoundWaves event

Join us for our first outdoor music and wellness experience in the Midtown Arts District of Kingston, NY!

Spread out a blanket on the grass and lie back for a unique and relaxing experience as the Summer light shifts from day to night.

Our “chillness” program (which stands for “chill out” and “wellness”) features a cacao ceremony and guided meditation, led by Intuitive Mentor/Health & Detox coach, Sabina Kurz. We then invite you to lie back on the ground and receive a deeply soothing musical sound bath and energy tuning performance by musician and Tibetan Tones practitioner, Jennifer Muir.

This event is open and welcoming to both seasoned users of meditative healing, as well as those new to wellness and musical sound-vibration techniques who are curious to see and feel how these practices can create positive transformation.

Explore the benefits of how cacao, the seed that chocolate and cocoa is made from, can energize your vitality and intuition, and why “sonic healing” is becoming a popular, science and psychology-based method of stimulating physical and emotional healing. Hosted and curated by Crimson-Catskills, with a relax and socialize vibe following the programming. Beverages and snacks will be available by suggested donation.

Featuring locally-produced products from Bashakill Vineyards, Wurtsburo, NY, and Space Cakes of Kingston, NY (Stayspacy.com). Product related to programming will also be available for purchase.

Cash or credit cards are welcome for beverages, refreshments, and merchandise.

Please bring a blanket, sheet, and/or pillow to repose on for the sound bath. Clean, Mexican yoga blankets will be available to use during the event for $3 if you’d like one (to cover the cost of cleaning after).

Please be mindful you will be outdoors in a fenced, flat yard for our offerings. The programming area is wheelchair accessible, however indoor bathroom is two steps up. We will have allergy-sensitive, anti-mosquito torches lit for the event. We hope to make you as comfortable as possible!

We are conveniently located near both the Midtown Arts and Stockade Districts in downtown Kingston, with ample lot and on-street parking nearby, as well as popular restaurants and music venues. Make a night of it!
