Don’t let the Dog Days of Summer drain you and your dog of energy!

Join us for our first-ever, community canine and caregiver workshop taught by certified dog health and nutritionist coach, Sunny Gandara, of Nacho Average Dog Health Coach.

This fun, outdoor, introductory class and demonstration is for well-trained dogs and their owners/families. Sunny will teach participants how to improve their dog’s long-term health and energy. It will be broken into two parts, with a 30-minute break between each segment, so dogs can sample the products being prepared, and all can enjoy human and canine snacks and beverages before the second part of our dog-wellness program.

Part 1: Eat and Greet - Info, Instruction, and Demo

  • The true ingredients and nutritional values of traditional dog food, and which whole foods are great to prepare and feed to your dog for optimal health.

  • A cooking demo of healthy meals and treats. Canine class participants will be invited to sample Sunny’s prepared meal!

  • How to make natural flea and tick spray for your dog with essential oils, and how other essential oils can be used for a variety of uses in your dog’s diet and for physical wellbeing.

  • Q&A owners can ask questions/get tips related to your dog.

Part 2: Lie Down and Relax - Info, Instruction, and Demo

  • Introduction to the various energetic wellness and intuitive techniques that can be practiced on dogs. Some of these include Animal Reiki, TTouch, EFT Tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique), Herbs and crystals.

  • Which behavioral or reactive traits are best suited to which holistic practice for dogs.

  • Dog Reiki demonstration on Crimson Catskills’ mascot, Nova, followed by the opportunity for your dog to receive a short healing practice administered by Sunny.

  • General tips for deep caring for your favorite family member in a healthy, holistic way.

Gift bags with homemade treats and other goodies for dogs, and coffee, Mimosas, healthy snacks, and merchandise will be on offer to humans by suggested donation.

We hope to share this very special program with you: your best friend deserves to live their longest, happiest, healthiest life!

Sunny Gandara, and Nacho, who inspired her integrative health and wellness coaching business, shares how she came to be a dog health coach….

I’m a proud dog parent

I have had the pleasure of having these amazing beings in my life for nearly two decades. I am a certified Holistic Health Coach for humans through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which gave me a great foundation to dive into holistic nutrition for dogs.

Everything starts with nutrition. This is the foundation and building block of a healthy and happy life. Through my coaching we will also address other factors such as exercise, mental and emotional support and stimulation, environmental and external factors, and other lifestyle choices.

I’m in training to become an animal communicator and Reiki energy healer, as well as a Dog Herbalist. My focus will be on dogs with cancer, and those struggling with autoimmune diseases.
